Bloggers and publishers can send notifications when:
- WordPress post editor is used to publish a post
- External Plugins are used
In WordPress
Create a blog post using WordPress Editor, before clicking on publish check the send notification on publishing option that is available in the same window. The tick option appears after you install a PushAssist Push Notification Extension. You can also send notifications if you update the old post or are posting it in some other forum.
External Editor Plugins
Check that the option” Automatically send a push notification when I publish a post from 3rd party plugins” in Settings. Tick the option if you wish to send a notification. If external plugins are being used to publish a post, notifications won’t be sent by default.
